Knuck, the link John had claimed a couple rounds from an M82A1/XM107 caused it to blow up and scared two other BMPs into surrendering. As I said, I don’t have any trouble believing that the other BMPs surrendered — after all, there were Iraqis surrendering to Italian TV cameras and UAVs — but I just find it difficult to believe that two 1/2 inch by < 1 inch slugs could blow up a BMP, even if they are “armor piercing and incendiary”.

Not unless they were Seaton and Crane special X loads.
