The Democratic Party has lost all track of moderation or centrism and is, therefore, Of Itself, By Itself, and For Itself. It functions for little reason other than self-love and recursive references to past glories. he would be aristocratic mega-wealthy telling themselves how much they care, “Leave everything to us and we’ll feed you cake!” and a declining gathering of former-warriors who have long since lost track of what ground has long since been gained and secured and what ground is now under attack.

It is pathetic to observe even when one is willing to “feel another’s pain”. In less empathetic moments it is simply disgusting to see.
