Maybe the decision to make Condi sit for hours on end listening to inane drivel from the likes of Barbara Boxer is intended to be a dry run for negotiating with the ChiComs. Frankly, I don’t know how anyone could stand the job of SecState – I admire Condi for agreeing to take it. Diplomats have a reputation for talking for hours on end without EVER getting to the point. After 10 minutes, I would be ready to jump off a bridge.
