Kerry has been pretty smart since he sewed up the nomination; he’s basically not letting any light between him and Bush on the subject of Israel. Of course, before he became the presumptive nominee, he was telling quite a different story–the wall was provocative, Arafat was a statesman, Jimmy Carter could negotiate a deal between Israel and the Palestinians.

But of course, the question is, if we should concur with the UN’s wishes on Iraq as Kerry claims, why shouldn’t we concur with their wishes on Israel.
