the KKK justified its dislike of Jews as “Christ killers”, as if anything about their own hateful outlook was Christian… really, they just needed a reason to hate Jews, and the bible gave one, at least for those who never got the point.

Oh yeah, and the KKK was a DEMOCRAT PARTY organization, founded right after the emancipation proclamation in order to put black folks BACK on the plantation… and its roots in the Democrat party lasted right up until.. well, NOW.. it’s never had any official business with Republicans, hated them in fact because they did so much for blacks in the civil rights years… and when the CRA was finally passed, they stopped voting Democrat and instead voted for– GEORGE WALLACE, who became the American Independent party candidate in ’68 .. no “republican migration” for him, or for any of them.. Byrd was already well established in the Senate as a Democrat, having voted against Civil Rights and Voting Rights.. never made even a faint attempt at “apologizing” until at least the 1980s..

the KKK is a DEMOCRAT organization. Anyone who wants to link them to Republicans, 40 yrs ago or now, is simply misinformed.
