What you – and the FBI – had better realize is that this is more than just “Religious Freedom”, it is an invasion. There are over a dozen mosques in New York alone, and even the Muslims admit that the “Ground Zero” Cordoba Mosque is being put where it is more as a political statement than as a place of worship.

If all the Muslims did was to worship there, there would be no problem. However the imams also tend to preach radical jihad (and Imam Rauf certainly has):
“On Monday, authorities in Hamburg, Germany announced that they had finally shut down the Taiba mosque, which as the Al-Quds mosque in 2001 was a meeting place for several of the 9/11 jihad terrorists, including Mohamed Atta, and which continued to be a hotbed of jihad activity thereafter”

Part of the problem is that Americans forgot, or refuse to acknowledge, that Islam is more then merely a religion (as we in the West traditionally understand it) – it is a way of life, a code that encompasses morals, daily practices, and political life. Shariah law is not merely a different codification of the Ten Commandments, it is a replacement for the English Common Law upon which our society is based.

We are brought up on the “Separation of Church and State” and have implemented it to the point where if a Christian pastor dares to endorse a specific candidate in a sermon, the church can lose their tax-exempt status. However, no Muslim will ever accept this. To a fundamentalist Imam, preaching on morality or preaching on the necessity to overthrow the U.S. Government and implement a Caliphate are indistinguishable.

I don’t know how we handle this, but if we do not than the results will be catastrophic. Just look at London or The Netherlands for a glimpse of the future.
