Why do you apologize? I’m afraid that your view that some things are too important to poke fun at is a remnant of your old liberal ideology – those folks on the left have no sense of humor at all. And what better way to put those Islamist troglodytes in their place than to belittle them? To treat them any other way accords them far too much dignity.
