When Obama took the oath of office, he probably wanted to become the Hugo Chavez of the United States. The army of young people who swept him into office, combined with the Acorn operatives, were going to be his enablers.

He and Michelle never expected that a little rant by Rick Santelli on CNBC would create the Tea Party blowback. Meanwhile, the army of enablers is not as invincible as Obama had planned.

So Obama has moved to Plan B: be as “transformative” as possible – inflict as much damage – in one term. It is the political equivalent of being a suicide bomber. Why not live large at taxpayer expense and leave Hillary or a Republican to pick up the pieces?
