Allawi and Dubya could’ve co-created cures for AIDS, cancer, Alzheimer’s and acne, and they’d STILL be labelled “…scumbags…liars…most crooked bunch…unpatriotic…unAmerican…idiots…” You get the point.

There is absolutely no benefit to Kerry or his partisans in saying anything positive about Dubya, certainly not 5 weeks before the election. I doubt Kerry would even have enough class a few years after the election to grant the grudging respect Carter eventually gave Reagan.

Kerry may be one of the purest examples of “asshole” we’ve ever had on the national stage–nudging out Al Gore and Howie Dean is some accomplishment.
