I’m glad people are beginning to see Obama as who he is. Many people think we can weather the man’s time in office. If in November we are able to weaken or overthrow the democrats in Congress, our system of government will work as it was designed to blunt his agenda. If our votes count that is. George Soros has a project working real hard to elect state and local officials in key states in order to guarantee democratic victories. Here is my post on that-

There is no guarantee our votes will count everywhere they are cast, so be vigilant. Further, as in my novel “REVOLT” (www.revoltthebook.com) the President is a man of damaged psyche, narcissistic, from a broken home, a poor capability to handle rejection or criticism, a belief he was destined to rule, and an ability to do what is necessary, even if it is harmful to the public, to guarantee HIS survival. Is Obama a monster like the book’s President Fontaine? No, I don’t think so, he is just a damaged man at the controls of YOUR nation and a leader of the free world during a time of great threat. Which means nothing good will come of his time in office. Then again, I could be in error…

What can go wrong? How many of you remember Waco? Last night a cable channel ran the 1997 documentary Waco Rules of Engagement and I took the time to watch it again. As I said in my post before you think “nutjob conspiracy theorist” I was a detective during that time period and hardly alone in the outraged and horrified reaction to the outcome of the final assault on the compound. Now the “hut hut team” members in my department were more supportive of the way the FBI handled it, but even they didn’t have an answer to the question I asked, “What crime did those babies commit to justify gassing and burning them to death?” The answer is none. For those of you who have visited my site you know as a professional law enforcement officer my motto was a simple one, “First do no harm.” If you found yourself harming innocent people in the name of the law, there had better be NO other way out. None.

What I found so revealing about the documentary was not the incident as much as how the leftists in the Clinton administration viewed their actions. Which brings me back to Obama’s capability to do harm. Does he have that mental governor that prevents men from doing things that harm innocents. GWB, for all the criticism he took, was a man of supreme humility and worried daily about the actions of his government. I knew people who knew him and the consensus was he believed he was a steward of the nation, not a ruler, unlike many of the current leadership.

Would Pelosi or Reid or Obama blink even once if the raid in MI went south and people were killed? No. Would they blink if another “cult” was burned to death or shot up? How about if a number of “tea party” protesters were gassed or beat or arrested?

We must be vigilant. We must be willing to step up and protect other citizens when they are under assault from an aggressive element of the government. My novel is about that moment. The characters involved are not superheroes, just men and women who have decided this is where they are going to make a stand for freedom.

I wrote it as a political/action thriller, not intending to have it turn into a history text. If we stand in November and overwhelm the left’s attempt to steal elections we may keep story where it belongs. If not, well history is filled with nations in crisis and people who take stands that make a difference.

We must take that stand or explain to our children how we let their freedom slip away.
