I hear you. At the very least, there are people like Daniel Hannan, Rocco Buttiglione, Jason Kenney, Ezra Levant, and Mark Steyn who are on the ramparts taking on the willfully deaf, dumb, blind & ignorant.

I am reminded that in the Byzantine Empire, it was the Emperors who fell into the trap that Antiochus little boots fell into (the Seleucid emperor who launched the maccabean revolt, which ended in the first victory in the ancient world over the tyrants presumed right to regulate heart and realm), but not the Orthodox Church. For at least the most humane Orthodox clergy took their cues from Justin Martyr, instead of those who would see vengeance meted upon the Jews.

We need to work together to reclaim what has been lost due to what the Greeks call “Akidia” or “accidie” which
is simply paralysis of the soul, a slackness of the mind, amongst other things.
