I’m almost speechless. I really have to wrack my brain and go back to LBJ to find a string of mistaken Executive-branch foreign policy decisions like this. I didn’t have high hopes for this administration, but they’ve managed to fail even that low bar by a miserable margin. It’s one disaster after another – Honduras, the missile shield, Iranian protests, The Falklands and the UK, Israel (multiple times), it just never stops.
