A presidential candidate is considerably helped if they are tall and good looking. It is my strong conviction that neither Calvin Coolidge nor even Abraham Lincoln could ever be more than U.S. senators in our modern era. We have been more than subtly conditioned into believing that good looking people are inherently good.
