I just posted this at another board where someone was running the “he must still answer the charges” trope…

Rather presented blatantly, badly forged documents to bolster the story of a man whose own daughter says is a liar, and whose own history and movements for the time he talks about contradict his story. Rather refuses to verify the provenance of the documents and insists they were verified by sources he will not name. This would not stand up as evidentiary in the most sordid civil suit or smallest criminal action.

And Bush is supposed to answer these “Charges?”

As someone who has been called a McCarthyite right on this very board, I take the deepest pleasure in asking, “Have you no shame, Dan Rather? Have you no shame?”
