Why doesn’t CBS News fashion itself into a “liberal Fox News”? They would have to give more face time to their political opponents (you see DNC shills FAR more often on Fox than on CBS/NBC/CNN/ABC because of Fox’s commitment to “balance”), among other things. It would give CBS News a ton more credibility.

They won’t do that, though. Their leadership is a gerintocracy, and they just don’t get it.
