The CRU has not responded to FOIA requests. The scientists should be able to show how they arrived at their results. Others should be able to duplicate their results. So far that has not happened. It is also difficult to explain away the bogus claims by the UN that the Himalayan glaciers will disappear by 2035 and that 40% of the Amazon rainforest will be wiped out.

The facts you mention (CO2 and 8 billion tons) are correlative. They are not evidence of cause and effect.
