#37 Paul – Thanks for that info. That explains much. Actual registration is 52% Indy, 36% Dem, and 12%Pub. That shows the “3:1″ advantage of Dems to Pubs. Of course, lots of those Indies are actually Dems, but those are the actual registration numbers.

So, the poll reflected 36% Dems, which matches the overall registration. However, it polled 20% Pubs and 43% Indies. So, either they somehow oversampled Pubs and undersampled Indies, while getting the Dems exactly right (a really neat trick), or… perhaps a lot of Indies have decided to become Pubs!
