Massachusetts shocker: Brown Up 15% in Pajamas Media/CrossTarget Poll
“When I got a chance to hear Scott Brown he seems like a small government fiscally prudent type who believes that many of these social issues are best left to the state governments or better yet to the people.”
Why yes he does. But he is also seemingly ‘more than understanding’ of ‘other’ views on these issues. In other words — they are not really even on the stove at the moment, never mind on the back-burner.
Libertarian/Conservative is the IDEAL CANDIDATE for 2010/2012. One can argue about the exact ‘specifics’ but a candidate who lives in this comfort zone (HONESTLY !!) is almost a lock for election in this environment.
Finances(not the economy) is the issue now and will be for many years to come. The candidate who can promise AND then deliver on the finance front will win.
That is why I don’t oppose some form of ‘penalty’ tax on the Banking Industry. It deserves it. It really really does. It may not be ‘conservative’ but it surely is ‘justified’. I think that the Automobile Bandits should be hit with exactly the same thing. But where the Bank Tax should and must be used as a contingency fund should the Banksters once again gamble our money away, the auto guys should just be required to pay back every last cent they got. No matter how long it takes. No PROFITS for YOU.
Simplistic I know but WINNING, and even better almost required at this stage of the economic ‘problem’.
