My California daze go all the way back to when Jerry’s dad was governor and I was in the Pageant of the Masters* and Pat came back stage and some of the Pageant’s nudes got autographs. (pretty steamy stuff to observe for a young kid )

*reproductions of works of art, mostly paintings, using living models

But I digress.

My fondest memory of Jerry was his deep & heavy pot smoking daze.

He’s the guy who won’t go quietly into the night. If this is the best Californians can do as would be gov., God help us all.
