A Jewish “friend” of mine, raised in an extremely leftwing Jewish home, has been brainwashed into believing that Jew-hatred only exists amongst American Christian right wingers. He is 40 years of age but can say things like “The muslims don’t hate us the way that Christians do in the USA.” He has never visited the deep South of the US but constantly talks of it as though the KKK were daily dragging Jews from their homes and murdering them. He refuses to believe anything I tell him about the Koran’s hatred for the Jewish race and thinks the Arabs merely want to live in peace with their Jewish neighbors and it’s the Israelis who are the problem. Sadly, I don’t think his blinkered view of the world will ever change.
