Ron Silver…may you now rest in light and love…I would now presume to respond to kds’ post of March 15: Sir/Madam, you need to examine the history of “liberal/progressive politics” , and now pernicous antics , in the US….remember as you do , the old maxim that… ” each generation believes that it is they who invented sex”. This is Obama and his crew from Chi-town in a nutshell- it is absolutely breathtaking re: the self-absorbed ahistoricism now on display in the White House. For this reason alone! , the ranks of the opposition to leftist kant will continue to grow- join up, open yer eyes and put yer koolaid cup down. Add in the crapulence issuing forth from the “truthers” and other dizzy , myopic junk-pop kulturnicks and you begin to see why Silver amoungst others, saw a different path post 9/11. I so appreciated his 2004 Repub. Convention speech…we have lost a bright star.
