The “vulture capitalism” and like attacks will resonate with a whole lot of voters in November if Mitt Romney is the nominee. If nothing else, it will certainly put the lie to Mitt’s main claim to fame, being a job creator and understanding how to put America back to work. All this sort of financial manipulation does is – sometimes – put a lot of money into a few pockets. If you look at who were the top contributors to Bush and Kerry in 2004, Obama, Clinton, Romney and McCain in 2008, you will find the usual suspects there: Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan – Chase. If they aren’t bought and paid for, they are certainly rented.
