Many years ago, I worked with a new batch of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences graduates from the Seven Sisters and the Ivies. They were on average very talented and skilled communicators. When it came to actually getting practical, nitty-gritty things done, many of them were fish out of water. They talked, not walked. In fairness, a few of them were outstanding producers.
