This article is right on. The only person to blame for this debacle is…Herman Cain.
1. If your a Republican candidate for president don’t expect anything in your past to be secret.
2. If you do have anything that would harm your run you handle it before you get in the race not afterwards or if your honest you don’t run.
3. If your really innocent you better know how to handle the howling liberal press, in other words a plan.
4. You actually have to have enough interest in being president to do your homework and not rely on conservative soundbites, platitudes and a good speaking voice.
It’s obvious Cain did not care enough about his wife, his supporters or the party he was representing to do 1,2, or 3. As for number 4 that is why I never supported him. Blaming the hacks in the liberal press is just BS. Cain himself could have handled all of this beforehand and if it couldn’t be handled so he could be honest about it he should never have run.
