Perhaps Mr. Cain ran because he had some ideas that he thought would be good for the country. Its called patriotism and he has my respect for it.

Did he underestimate the rabid media attention? Probably. It is too bad that people of his caliber get dogged by these problems. I would have liked to see his economic ideas in the oval office.
