Good piece, Roger. But a mystery? Nay, nay!

Cain was a fairly successful black businessman with a huge ego and a nice ‘Christian’ family who obviously lived a double life at home and on the road. His good, low-profile Christian wife bought into the false idea of never challenging her man, buying into decades of his obfuscation by supporting and going along to get along. Because she was so easy to hoodwink for decades, Herman naturally thought—wrongly—the American people would be too.

The rest is history. We may not have all the facts, but fortunately we’re not as stupid as we must look. Though Ann Coulter sure is, imho.

As far as I’m concerned, this isn’t a real mystery at all. You can’t blame Herman for trying…all he wanted was a cookie.
