Sorry, Roger, but this guy never intended to be a serious candidate…that was an accident, produced by the lameness of the rest of the GOP field. He was trying to sell books and/or get himself a high-paying gig on FNC or talk radio. Period. He’s been dishonest at every turn (well, at least when he wasn’t too busy being clueless). I have no idea why he was as popular as he was for as long as he was, but then again, this is the same country filled with self-deluded adult children who voted Obama into office, so I guess most anything can get elected president these days.
