The one about race trumping gender in politics??? I must say that although I didn’t bother reading it, I find the example you use in the first line ridiculous. Roland Burris was APPOINTED to the Senate, legally. That is why he’s in, and Caroline is out because NO APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN MADE IN NY YET!! Burris did not have “an easy time” getting in, he was treated like an outcast and ganged up on, and the only reason he’s in is cause the Dems didn’t have much of a leg to stand on, and all the publicity Burris gave himself on the issue. Also, how can you say race trumps gender, when Obama was and now Burris is the ONLY black senator in the U.S. senate??? At least they have about 11 women last I heard. Women do have a gender card, Clinton played it like a violin in the primaries. I’d like for you to stop continuing what she started, this nonsensical war of “who’s more oppressed, blacks or white women?”. As one who is both, I’m sick of women trying to point fingers at blacks and make them look suddenly privileged. We are not. Stop the divisiveness. Its a new year, all these ppl should stop pissing me off!!!!
