fyi, i’m for Newt. Romney is my second choice.
It’s an easy call. The logic is simple.
1. Defeating Obama is paramount. It’s 100 times more important than ideology.
2. The president’s role from 2012 to 2016 will be to rubber stamp the new Tea Party Congress. That’s where the real leadership should be and will be.
3. Only two candidates have the brain power to defeat the one billion dollar marxist lying machine. Newt and Romney. Cain isn’t even in the league, nor are the other candidates. (Perry is pitiful as well).
4. The difference between Newt and Romney is that Newt is smarter but has more baggage. Romney has more money. It’s close to a toss-up, but I go with brains for now.
5. No Republican president will get in Congress’ way. In the case of Romney, if he gets elected his primary goal will be to be re-elected. He is probably the Republican candidate MOST likely to follow the Tea Party’s lead. Cain, in contrast, will do whatever the hell he pleases. He has already made that clear. And everything that comes out of the guy’s mouth is a roll-your-own moment. He looks good and sounds good saying it, but he couldn’t say the same thing twice in a row if his life depended on it. I can’t figure out whether it’s a strategy or just that he can’t keep things straight, but I favor the latter.
