Was Benghazi Not Enough? Obama Should Resign over Obamacare

November 14th, 2013 - 9:26 pm

What we have in the presidency is a hugely selfish man disassociated from reality who has lied to such a degree few trust him. I realize he will never be impeached. The country does not want to go through such a trauma with all its attendant adverse reactions on race relations.

The problem is we have three years left to be led by a dishonest man. This is horrible situation for all of us on so many levels.

Barack Obama should resign for the good of the country. And for his own good. It is the only way to salvage his reputation. The limited fixes, such as the one he attempted on Thursday, are a waste of time and only dig a deeper ditch. They also have the unintended consequence of making people more fed up with government than they already are. Even I, as someone attracted to libertarianism, cannot take pleasure in that. Limited government should emerge from analyzing the pro and cons of political systems, not from the personal weakness of a liar.

Finally, I realize this isn’t the first time I have called for Obama’s resignation. I did it before over another egregious lie. How many bridges make a bridge too far?

What is hard to understand is how Obama was elected with zero achievements yet a lot of statements indicating exactly what he intended to do. And, regarding Iran, American Jews voted overwhelmingly for Obama, not just once, but twice, after he had treated the leader of Israel with a disrespect one would give to criminals. It has been clear to thinking and observant people for years that Obama would do all he could to facilitate Israel's enemies, including aiding their nuclear plans. So one should not be surprised when he does what he indicated he would do. Yet the American Jewish community probably still would vote way beyond 60% for Obama over any Republican. Strange world.

George Soros didn't resign after tearing apart two countries. Bill Ayers didn't resign after openly treasonous acts. Jeremiah Wright didn't resign after God to damn America.

Obama's inner circle wants to damage free market constitutional democracies and religious institutions affiliated with traditional Biblical beliefs.

In fact, they were disappointed in Obama that he didn't seize more and he "lost the opportunity" when he got "shellacked" and the Republicans took back the House.

But don't think for a moment that Obama and his cabal are "not as bad" as Stalin.

Tyranny hidden as "soft liberalism" is a worse brand of despotism. Instead of making nooses all day to hang those who oppose the rape of their freedoms, the faux populism fools the dim into making the nooses themselves.

This is why the propaganda machine is the most evil conspirator.

Obama lied about Fast and Furious, about Solyndra, about global warming, about Winston's bust, about the credit card check system in his campaign, about Benghazi, about spying on us, about siccing the IRS on conservatives, about his college days, about being a radical leftist who embraces radical leftism.

The truth has been made into a trifling thing. Our media, our entertainment and our academia are part and parcel of The Big Lie. They ALL should resign...if they had a conscience. And therein lies the rub. Obama's dictatorship does not exist, but for...the traitors who bathe in the waters of treason...that begat this national nightmare.

One day our fools making their own nooses might wake up...and find a proper use for them after all. If they don't, a life under Stalin would be picnic in comparison.

Roger, don't you understand that we now live in country in which, not only is the truth relative, but shame is relative as well? Most people of Obama's ilk simply don't understand the concept of shame unless, of course, it's the shame they claim to feel regarding America's moral failings. But feeling shame for personal behavior is so old school, the province of fussy conservatives and religious nuts.

If the people who are the most responsible for Obama's outrageous dishonesty and failure were to feel enough shame to force them to resign, most newsrooms and television studios would be completely empty. It's difficult to place the blame on Obama when it's the deceiving, narrative-spinning media who created him and thrust him into office in the first place. They are the people who should be shunned and made to suffer for what they've done.

'If I were Barack Obama, I would resign as president'.

No Roger - if you were he, you would be a shill doing the bidding of your deluded masters of the neo-comintern - a stealthier, more successful and infinitely more dangerous entity than the old one; it has already captured No.10 Downing Street and the White House and is facilitated by an agitprop machine that has assimilated most of the Western MSM. So advising the POTUS of what you would do if you were POTUS is a futile exercise, sadly. He ain't listening to you, he is robotically working to the game plan - which will ultimately lead to global chaos. It's just a question of who will inherit the scorched earth: his puppeteers, or Islamic jihad? My money is on the latter. It's the demographics - allied to the gullibility of hoi polloi of 'Western Democracy' - brainwashed to buggery! Or buggered by brainwashery. Take your pick.

The tipping point for me was the canning of Lopez from Gatestone???

There is no hope. We're done.

Thirty years ago I would have laughed if you told me I would be longing for the likes of Lyndon Johnson or Richard Nixon -- politicians who were at east honorable enough to recognize their utter failure and resign or decline to seek re-election.

while I too support the abdication of Obama, I believe that Obama would get re-elected for a 3rd term even if there was 50% unemployment. America is suffering a national case of dementia

Of course Obama would be re-elected for a 3rd term. Progressives are painfully disappointed in him; he's as much in the pocket of Wall Street as Romney was;
at the same time he does seem to have a glimmer of understanding of the plight of the middle class.

Obama tells the truth about his Obamacare agenda in 2007. He wants a one payer government plan, but he admits he cannot do it in one swoop, that he needs an intermediate step. Obamacare is that intermediate step....

The Liberal Progressives in particular are a patient group. This is to them a day by day game of inches, never relenting, always moving forward always positioning themselves and their agenda. True conservatives by their nature and for the most part have been content to mind their own business. Time for people who have known the score and those who are starting to awake from their coma to get off their collective butts, coalesce and take out the trash on both sides of the aisle next election.

Yes, Obama (if he had any decency) *should* resign, but of course he won't. I believe Obama exhibits a number of psychological pathologies, not the least which is telling serial lies. But this is not "news" (it's been known since at least 2008). Ditto for his Marxist intentions to fundamentally transform America -- whether it is socialized medicine, global warming, trillion dollar deficits (to expand Americans dependency on government), or fawning over America's enemies while treating allies with utter contempt -- Obama has boldly stated all of his intentions; it is not "hidden" or a secret. So Obama's actions should come as no surprise to anyone. My only hope is that legal action will be taken against him -- currently he acts like a Third World potentate, above the law, unaccountable, capricious. He must be brought to account.

he feels no shame. nor does holder, hillary or any of the fellow travelers. it was the first thing to go, or obama never would be president. there is no shame about the blacks and latinos who can't read, or write or spell or think. but they know how to handle a gun or beat the vulnerable to death. there is no shame in being a low life coward, or they wouldn't be clustered in mobs, stealing and robbing and depriving others of their personal liberty. there is no shame in bill mahr, a very stupid and twisted guy who famously said the other day that boston made too much of a fuss because "boston wasn't flattened by godzilla". these are not "liberals". I come from a liberal legacy that goes back generations. these are just shameless scum.

I can't look into Obama's mind and I'm not a good judge of human character. A people person I am not. But I think we conservatives have turned him into a bit of a folk-devil. I don't think he's an evil mastermind, a closet jihadi, or a psycho.

I think he's a low-level Democrat Party machine operator, an intellectual middleweight, a run-of-the-mill American leftist, and a political opportunist who got lucky but is in way over his head. For him, trying to govern the United States is like a balloon pilot trying to fly an F-15 in combat. His behavior is not that of a great man (good or evil) but of a man badly out of place.

It wasn't Destiny that singled out Obama to be the most powerful man in the world - it was the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate.

You might be right about Obama being an intellectual middleweight, but did any of you ever admit George Jr. was an idiot? A likable idiot, but I'll never believe he voluntarily read a book.

Maybe it's a matter of protecting our own.

JayBug,
Can't you clowns ever move on? What does George Bush have to do with this discussion? I thought you couldn't wait for him to be gone.

George Bush's greatest failing was to believe that the Democrats actually cared about America. He was too old school and couldn't make himself believe that Democrats really, truly, don't give a damn about America; that Democrats are so self centered that they will do anything, ANYTHING to gain and hold power.

A likeable idiot? Obama is clearly less intelligent than W. (I don't think George Bush would have read "corpse" man three times off a teleprompter and not had a clue as to what he had just done) and he doesn't come across as likeable at all. Just a plain, old, hateful, garden variety, America hating idiot.

Obama unfortunately has his hands on levers of power that should only be held by far more decent men.

there can be no impeachment. The violence would be too severe.
And we all now the Republicans are more afraid of being called racist than doing their job.

Krauthammer is right on one point, that is... Obama lied massively - outright - no mincing words - no equivocating - no apologies.
The residual point would be; does congress relinquish their law making authority to the executive - or are they just baffled?
