Boston: It’s About Islam, David Sirota

April 19th, 2013 - 9:54 am

Now the focus will shift to that other dubious term, Islamophobia. We should beware of being Islamophobic.

What does that mean?  We should ignore that people around the world are killing each other and innocent others in the name of one version or other of Islam? The numbers doing that are staggering.

And why is this a phobia? A phobia implies that it is not happening. It is.

A hopeful sign has been the reaction of the Tsarnaev’s uncle, who is appalled by the actions of his nephews and is calling for Dzhokar to turn himself in.

We need more of this, much more. Organizations like CAIR, that spend so much time looking for prejudice and so-called Islamophobia, should look instead to reform the views of their own people. They could start with the rights of women and homosexuals and then move on to revising the whole idea of jihad and the way Islamic cultures treat other religions and peoples.

The Islamic people of the world need a reformation in the most extraordinary way. Ignoring that, as do the Sirotas of our culture, will not help it happen.

A poster on another thread put the issue succinctly and truthfully.

What is the difference between a radical Muslim and a moderate Muslim?
A radical Muslim wants to kill us.
A moderate Muslim wants the radical Muslims to kill us.

The closest thing to a proper definition for "Islamophobia" that I have been able to come up with is the fear on the part of Muslims and their auxiliaries that the truth will be told about that vile barbaric crime against humanity that is Islam, and it’s founder, Muslim's “Perfect Man”, the mass murdering, thieving, hating, torturing, enslaving, camel urine drinking, child raping sadistic pervert, the Monster who Walked the Earth, called Mohammad. My definition is certainly far more accurate than theirs, hands down.

The left and the crazed 7th century barbarians are bedfellows because:

a) they are both radical zealots;

b) they are hypocrites and extremists;

c) they hate America and Israel;

d) they hate Christianity and Judaism;

e) they think nothing of being liars or traitors;

f) they like to blow things up

g) they are sexually in a state of constant, irrepressible arousal and cannot control themselves

h) they have the emotional IQ of a rabid snake, permanently stuck in arrested adolescence

I don't want to "understand" radical leftism or radical Islam any more than I already do. I want to eradicate it. I know its "root causes". (see above)

They suck. And David Sirota is a d-bag. D-baggery is genetic defect tied to radical leftism. Radical Islam has that...and the people from Kyrgyzstan and other similar places also suffer from sexual repression, d-baggery and irritable vowel syndrome as well.

Sirota was on an AM talker here in Denver, spewing Lefty crap and castigating anyone who didn't fall in line with his ideas. He got the ax after calling another Talk Host a "M*****f*****." Classy guy with the Progressive tattooed on his back. He's not intelligent enough to hand out snack samples at Costco...

Sorry, Roger.

Unlike Christianity, Islam cannot "reform" to a more original intent, as Protestantism did in the face of a corrupt Roman Catholic system.

Islam was born with a sword in its hand and a mandate to kill all who don't submit, which is the same message we hear today. Its very symbol is a simitar.

How do you "reform" a religion toward peace when it has never known peace?

I'm surprised to read such a thought from you, Roger Simon. You're no naif.

Those organizations cannot "reform" any Muslim tenets or actions or anything "Muslim" to do with their own people because their otherwise very elastic, all-encompassing Koran is absolutely rigid on there being "no reform". It must stand as it is.

I don't read Arabic, but that's the impression I get from the endless excerpts popping up here and there in English.

The Muslim hypocrisy we deal with daily cannot deal with "reform"....that would call for their own throat slitting on a large scale.

Otherwise, I'm all in favor of Muslims "healing themselves". But it's simply out of the question.

How could you reform something that has already declared itself "perfect" (perfect book, perfect prophet) and those who deny this "perfection" are killed?

This is what Islam is afraid the most: a single tiny crack in this severely psychologically insecure "religion". All free discussion about it either abolished or demonized.

The younger one was apparently naturalized and took the oath of citizenship not too long ago, a coworker said on 9/11, but I don't know where she got her information. So, if that's true, Sirota now has his white "American" but somehow, I don't think Dzokar was quite the white American he was hoping for.

There was another nutcase earlier the day mentioning Hitler. She got her wish too: those islamofascists are big fans also.

It seems the pro-collectivist media should celebrate by now.

I couldn't help but notice your valid point when all the Blue State Bostonian democrats came to the streets to 'boo' the cops as they left, for killing and apprehending their friendly neighborhood terrorists.

Talk about radicalized minds!

I did find it interesting that we essentially had an entire major city on police imposed house arrest for an entire day and no one seemed to bat an eye about it. We did it to find one man. When did Americans become so compliant to the demands of the state?

I'm sure it was duly noted in the upper reaches of Homeland Security management how very, very easy it was. I think the nature of the crime conferred automatic jurisdiction on the FBI and BATFE but that gives them little authority over the civilian population. The presence of the NG and all the other state and local law enforcement was probably done under emergency powers of the Governor who could call the MANG to state active duty and assign all the State Police. I don't know MA law, so I don't know if the governor had the authority to direct other police forces to respond, but there are usually all sorts of mutal aid covenants between cities. Shutting down the airports and AMTRAK is within federal authority. To the extent they blocked roads, that had to be done on state and local authority or the issues get dicey.

I haven't heard anything about it and Comrade Obama has been amazingly quiet through it all, but if Gov. Patrick called for federal assistance because the situation was beyond MA's means to control, we have a much different situation inasmuch as state and local authority would have been totally subsumed by the federal government. This is the situation contemplated by the posse comitatus provisions. Much to his detriment, GWB was respectful of the government of Louisiana during the approach of Katrina even though anyone with a brain could see that the situation was beyond the competence of the LA and NOLA governments. The nightmare scenario is some SHTF situation in which the Governor does not want federal intervention, interests in the state do, and the federal government wants to intercede on their behalf. That's when we'd find out who the NG, the active military, and state, local, and federal law enforcement are really loyal to. My money ain't on the state.

Now that is just the stupidist thing I've ever seen you say! I really thought you had one foot in the world or reality. I supose its that old intellect vs. common sense thing!

People with common sense wouldn't even need government officias to tell them to stay inside their homes and buildings when a crazed killer is on the loose on the streets and hundreds of adrenaline pumped LE's are on the chase having already been in a massive shootout with other leathal bombs and weapons hurled at them, one LE murdered and another seriously hurt in the shootout.

Most people with common sense appreciate their LE's and other government organizations letting them know when situations are dangerous to human life affording them advanced opportunity to leave or stay inside the homes and other buildings a s means of protection of life.

The problem remains the same. We have already let millions of sleepers into the country we know not where or who they are. They can explode at any time. We also still consider Islam a religion.It is anything but.
Islam is a method of control for brainwashed individuals who have been under the influence of others who were also brainwashed until you get to the top of the cult. There the leaders live in luxury with multiple wives and millions in the bank.

Islam is multifaceted. It is a religion. It is a political movement. It is a military organization. It is a subversive organization. It is very controlling and limits what you can think, believe and say. If you don't stay in the "group" or begin acting as if you don't believe, you get shunned or threatened or assaulted or killed.

Sirota's updated response is just as vacuous as the original piece, since it's built on falsehoods passed off as fact combined with squirming.

It shows how good grammar and writing skills in no way translates into thinking skills. I know children who can think more clearly.

>"Organizations like CAIR, that spend so much time looking for prejudice and so-called Islamophobia, should look instead to reform the views of their own people. "

You fell into the same trap that all the liberal "journalists" do -- accepting the premise that CAIR is a legitimate civil rights organization. It is NOT. It is a well kept secret that CAIR is a Muslim Brotherhood organization seeking (in their own words) to destroy US from within. They are unindicted co-conspirators in the nation's largest terrorist funding trial (the Holy Land Foundation trial), and a number of their former leaders are now sitting in jail for terrorist related activities. On top of that, they have been involved in defrauding fellow Muslims through providing bogus unlicensed legal services. Its sad that even at an otherwise excellent blog like PJM, CAIR gets credit for being a legitimate organization, which it simply is not.
