Woody Allen really thinks way too highly of himself. I find Larry David despite his occasional funniness to be a misanthrope.

The world is fuill of old men who are rich, powerful, charismatic, or some combination of the above, who attract young women. My guess is that Woody Allen could have his pick at any film school, art school or other aesthetic paradise on the country, and certainly in France.

I loved Lionel's line in the video that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is "Amos and Andy, except with Jews." That is beautiful. I think that show takes the particular form of stereotyped American Jewish neurosis David developed on "Seinfeld" and takes to the next, more painful, level.

Great piece, guys.

<i>"Anyway, Woody’s fantasy that you can be attractive to twenty-year olds at seventy goes on..."</i>

Well, that fantasy is somewhat aided and abetted by Hugh Hefner's obvious success at it.
