I like the alliteration, but the words of Barack Obama and Joe Biden are (for once) not so far apart as they seem, regarding how the US would view an Israeli attack on Iran&amp;#8217;s nuclear installations.  Obama said: &amp;#8220;We can&amp;#8217;t dictate to other countries what their security interests are.&amp;#8221;  Biden said: The US &amp;#8220;cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do.&amp;#8221; Sounds pretty similar to me, despite all the caveats added, particularly by Obama, of course. Even the State Dept&amp;#8217;s Ian Kelly said:  &amp;#8220;We&amp;#8217;re not going to dictate its [Israel&amp;#8217;s] actions&amp;#8230;&amp;#8221; (You can bet the US would have sharp words for Israel on this matter if they wanted.
