My Dad is in failing health at 74 years of age. A 9th grade drop out to help support his family. He spent a few years in the old Endicott-Johnson shoe factories, before spending 25 years of his life hauling garbage for the village we live in.

He put me through college, and helped me get started in my first job in the computer industry. Gave me the best advice of my life. "Keep your eyes open and your mouth shut."

I was pleased to take him and my mother out to lunch yesterday on Father's day.

Remember the good times Mr. Simon, I'm sure there were many!

Every time I log on, I think the same thing-- about my father!! Interesting-- it must be genetic. Daddy would also have liked Home Depot and Costco!
