He is so all pervasive in our world, so constantly with us, that if feels like he&amp;#8217;s been around forever.  Maybe it&amp;#8217;s because his speeches and statements go on and on.  Quentin Letts  across the Pond at the Daily Mail appears to have picked this up: &amp;#8220;He spoke slowly, in a meandering manner. Some might say that he was thoughtful and professorial. Others might call his manner circuitous, even yarny. Am I saying that he was a bore? Oh dear.
