You guys are deliberately pretending not to realise that the rot of 8 years of Bushe’s irresponsible and wide off the goal misrule cannot be corrected in few months.I think and i am not alone in this,that Mr.Obama is in the right direction trying to wake up a comatose economy and restore back confidence in American leadership the world over.The least we could do as patriotic Americans is to support him and quickly join the ongoing movement to rebuild our nation.Unconstructive arm-chair criticism and nay-saying is not only unhelpful and lacking in the spirit espoused by our Fathers,it portrays a sad refusal to see anything good about the man we have wisely voted to steer our ship of state for the next 4 years.And that to me would be sinister and personal.Lets remove bitterness from politics Americans!!

David Thomson @ Post #122 continues to bet against America. He wants America to fail, so he can say Obama failed. This is NOT a patriot. If he is able to predict ( ” my previous predictions on the DOW have been EXTREMELY accurate” ) accurately what the DOW will do, why is he wasting his time telling US about it ? The DOW will go up and the DOW will go down, no matter who is in the White House . David Thomson is a poseur. No substance there at all. A total loser who is full of himself and also full of other things he can take care of on his own with a visit to a small room ! . May he continue to live in interesting times until he receives the reward he deserves. Let’s see if he can predict what THAT will be !!

nosinin @ 119 obviously did not plan well for retirement. I pity this person. I am retired and doing great – NOT waiting for a handout from Uncle Sam ! ! I got out of the stock market BEFORE the slide started. nosinin needs to look in the mirror. THAT is the person responsible for nosinin’s retirement problems, not shrubnose or anyone else. Whining about problems YOU created is not an answer. Try getting off your butt and , you know, actually doing something (anything) to help yourself. People have survived worse times. Look at how Europe and Japan recovered after WWII. They sure didn’t do it by whining! The USA will be OK, with or without nosinin’s help . Have a wonderful life.

My previous predictions on the Dow have been extremely accurate. Please feel to look them up. As for yesterday—I consider that a “sucker bounce.” And today—the DOW did indeed drop over 100 points. I was merely one day premature. Lastly, I suspect that Monday’s huge jump will disappear before next Monday. Let’s see if I’m right.

You know the Dems as a political party are in a quandary. The elitist party leaders will soon have to face the reality that their policies are not working. But what to do? Congress will have to go more centrist. But how will this be justified after all the hype? As a party they can not admit that they are wrong about their policies, so they have to have someone to blame. They may even sacrifice a few leaders like Dodd and Frank. Another way out is to “find out” that Obama is not a US citizen. Just another “crisis” to solve and, of course, take advantage of. Remember this is the party that will do anything to remain in power. Once the media falls out of love with Obama the Dem’s elitist leaders will move to distance themselves from him, possibly even being somewhat racist about it, “we were duped by this smooth talking non-white who took advantage of our guilt, we should have known better” yada yada. How far it will go beyond that is dependent on how bad the economy gets, how angry the people get. It will be fun to watch. But bad for all of us, especially those of us with something to lose, savings, homes, jobs.

Shrubnose-you are David S Peace. Right? Why don’t you go read some news. Even your main stream boondoggles are horrified with this clusterf_ck. If these new spitballs that our current admin continue ie: “seize” other institutions that are “about to totter” Well my young lad, our gov will then own EVERY PENNY that each and everyone of us has worked hard to earn, THEN they will decide WHO gets it. I hope you think you will be on the recieving end. Obviously you do or you would not keep spouting your idiotology. I have worked and saved since I was 16. I should be able to retire in a few years. NOT. Yes, we are in a horrible mess, grant you that. I don’t at this point even really care who/what caused it. What I am looking at is these not even thinly veiled attempts by Oba to make it look like he gives a rats ass and is trying to fix this, when in fact he is slurping up OUR money faster than he can print it. Look around you little 20 yr old. China wants a global monetary system. Who gets the short end of that stick? So Peace mister. If you gave a crap about anything other than who you can blame and your ideology, you might see that you are rapidly losing any chance of a decent life. Have a nice day
