Was "No Country For Old Men" really about Islamic Terror ? Was Chigurh the personification of Islamic Terror ? Was there a strong Kabbalah theme throughout the movie ? Did this type of statement have to be hidden given Hollywood's pro terror, anti America obsession ?

I have tried to watch the video (basic level) three times. In each instance it crashes the browser (Firefox on a fast Intel Mac with OSX).

Scott, some people have reported problems with PJTV with Firefox on some platforms, although fewer and fewer. I don't have problems myself. I am on a Mac with Leopard. Still the preferred browsers for PJTV are Explorer (Windows) and Safari (Mac). I am glad to hear it is working well on Opera.

ditto, Wonderful. And I liked the 'riffing.' The story about the embargo on Lionel's Hanoi Hilton and his interview with McCain is truly shaming to the guys at Warner.

I hope to see it after the election, though.

Please god, McCain is President then. Although I expect a huge lawyer foodfight whatever the outcome on the 4th.

Thanks, Steve. I noticed the same thing too. When Lionel and I get to riffing, there are (alas) a lot of years between us and a lot comes out. Keeping up with it difficult for our over-stressed tech folks and editors. But we are looking into this.

Wonderful. Is it possible to post links to during the program? There are many references to individuals and movies that may be unfamiliar to many viewers.
