Life in Los Angeles has gotten progressively worse and more anonymous, if such a thing were possible , in the last decade or so.  Maybe it&amp;#8217;s just as well they&amp;#8217;re taking away the names.  A few years back some wit in the city government decided to call the hideous intersection of Sunset and LaBrea, dominated by three of the world&amp;#8217;s ugliest strip malls, Billy Wilder Square.  Some honor.  Fortunately for fans of &amp;#8220;Some Like It Out,&amp;#8221; you could drive by the intersection for years without noticing the obscure little sign with the name.]]&gt;</description><pubDate>Mon, 07 Jul 2008 21:48:40 -0400</pubDate><creator xmlns="dc">&lt;![CDATA[Roger L.
