Does Obama regular flip flops reflect his popular image, what has been called the white (keep reading, It’s not about Michelle) canvas, the neutral persona on whom people can project their personal histories and aspirations or what Obama has himself defined as the centerpiece of his message “change you can believe in”?

He’s gone back on the financing of his campaign, on NAFTA (twice I think) and the speculation is that because the surge he opposed has made his abandon Iraq position indefensible, he will go to Iraq and come back a changed man.

At first glance one would not be faulted for speculating, as much as one can decipher Mahmoud’s intentions, that if Mahmoud is paranoid is perhaps because he knows he has a good reason. In witch case his paranoia might be called something else.

If one, as Mahmoud does, while making nukes, keeps calling for the destruction of a neighbor, there comes a point where a rational person (I know I’m stretching, it is Mahmoud we are talking about) might conclude that the threats will,,, eventually,,, fiiiinally be taken seriously.

I mean, it’s not hard to imagine Mahmoud in front of a mirror asking himself ‘how do you get away with it?’

Let’s just say that if he is guessing about getting kidnapped he has a perfect vantage point.
