We should, alas, as Newt is urging, start to drill domestically.  At the same time we can&amp;#8217;t use this for a license to go out and buy SUVs, etc. The CAFE standards should be raised and incentives designed (yes, and government money spent) for alternative energy. The energy crisis is big and real.  Following one ideological line to solve it is dumb.
