He can pretty much decide something is to be made, and someone will finance and distribute it. It kind of looks like he decided it was time the Jews got some good press (which, after all, is sort of what was behind the "Hannukah Song" too.) I guess I'm gonna have to see this one. Priceless line. Looks like a winner from the trailer, of course Sandler is funny even in bad movies. The fact that an Israeli soldier is portrayed in a positive light is pretty odd.
