Of course I was kidding around but…

Actually I have been in NH only a couple of months ago, at my alma mater Dartmouth College, and wrote about it on here. Among other things, I noted the food had improved… but to the level of similar places in France… don’t be ridiculous. I am no fan of numerous things about the French nation, but when it comes to food in rural areas… please.

Ricpic, you sound just like that famous Frenchman, Monsieur Chauvin.

Now Roger let’s be real here. You are just about my age +-2 so your kiddom at Winni was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago.

I was just up in the White Mountains las week end on the Kancamangas Highway and I can safely say that, yes, things have changed culinarily speaking. There are any number of good restaurants in the area.

My wife had Roast Duck in a sour cherry sauce while I had Venison in some sort of Port and juniper berry sause. Excellenty, primo, good.

Now, now, Roger, ain’t nothin a few extra bottles of extra virgin olive oil and good red wine in the suitcases can’t handle. Then throw in a few pinches of sel de mer and voila! New Hampshire is transformed.
