Before the web, I used to subscribe to a dozen or so news/political magazines. Now, I only get 2 paper mags--Backpacker and Canoe/Kayak, and those only because I got pressured by my roommate's kid to sign up for his school drive. I would compare TIME to the trilobite more than the triceratops, a primitive scuttling through the muck. Roger hits it correctly. Before the web, I used to subscribe to a dozen or so news/political magazines.
