		<description>Congratulations, Roger. You are blessed, and also, as I believe Love is a matter of Will, you are also doing a good thing as a human being in loving your wife and family.

I am happy for you.

And, that&#039;s what Valentine&#039;s Day is all about.

		<description>Congratulations Roger and many happy returns on the day.

I suspect the faerie/cherubs are aspiring to Roman Catholicism, and they also appear to be competent welders.

That looks like a brazier at bottom right, and the faerie wands could easily double as irons. The heart mending process has clearly produced some smoke and, perhaps, some fire.

But the Sacred Heart is clearly intended. St. Valentine would be pleased, proud, and confused.

		<description>Congratulations, and a touch of envy, to all who have made their marriages work. Keep it up, please--the rest of us need the example.

		<description>James: It looks to me like they are gluing it back together after it was broken.

Great metaphor for someone who loved and lost a couple times before getting it right.

		<description>This is what life&#039;s supposed to be about. All most folk want is to try to make next week better than this week, raise their kids right, and provide for some kind of future for our loved ones. In the arguments of the whichness verses the wherefors, too often we lose sight of that.

Congratulations to Roger and Sheryl - I mention both, because it always takes two. Always consider the line in an important document: &quot;to preserve the domestic tranquility.&quot; My friends have gotten used to a comment of mine, when I&#039;m asked &quot;What did you do over a holiday, a weekend, etc..&quot; The comment is, of course, &quot;preserving my own domestic tranquility.&quot;

Since my job is involved with counter terrorism, my wife is used to strange interruptions, long hours, etc. I make a point of taking care of Domestic Tranquility. Trust me, it pays off.

I keep telling folks that this is what the counter terrorism stuff is all about. Allowing ourselves and others to life their lives, try to make tomorrow better than today, raise your kids right, and provide some kind of better future for all of us.

What I have a problem with is folks that are brainwashed into believing that the way to God is by killing my people. That kind of person is not to be reasoned with. All you can do is, at best, prevent them from killing your people, then arrange said meeting.

Some folks seem to have a problem with all that. My response is tough, I don&#039;t care. We&#039;ll go on with the war on terror, because it&#039;s the right thing to do, and we&#039;ll continue until the American people take from us the tools we need to defend ourselves.
