Actually, no, many of us think that a “moderate Islam” is no better than a “moderate Shari’a.”

“Moderate” Muslims are little help and don’t do much to oppose terrorists. Often they are very bigoted about religion and highly anti-semitic.

The only ones who are any help are REFORMIST Muslims — Muslims who want to reform Islam and bring into, oh, at least the 19th Century. And civilization doesn’t help the reformers by mincing words.

An islamofascist is any Muslim who doesn’t hate Shari’a like poison.

Soon, we in Canada will find our various Human Rights Commissions are dragging in frowners and star-ers, to be soundly slapped around for ‘racism.’

And I still say that all these multi-culturists receive their support from the citizenry because that “rich variety” really means interesting restaurants. Cut out ‘multiculturalism’ and gosh, our restaurants will be so DULL.

[Proposed]DECLARATION OF WAR WITH RADICAL ISLAM

Joint Resolution Declaring that a State of War exists between Radical Islam and the Government and People of the United States and making provisions to prosecute same.

Whereas the extraterritorial movement known as Radical Islam has planned, advocated, and committed unprovoked acts of War against the people of the United States of America

Whereas, numerous representatives of said Radical Islam have announced that their exists a State of War between radical Islam and the United States,

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, that a State of War now exists between Radical Islam and the United States and is hereby formally declared. The President is authorized and directed to employ the military forces of the United States as needed and the resources of the Government to carry on the war against Radical Islam. Further, recognizing the danger posed by individuals who are loyal to Radical Islam who are now or may in the future be residing in the United States and its territories, the President and the Attorney General of the United States are hereby authorized to identify such individuals, take them into preventive custody, and deport them from the United States.

For purposes of this Declaration, Radical Islam is defined as those individuals or organizations who advocate, support, plan or execute jihad attacks against the United States and its foreign allies and interests or those who support the overthrow of the Constitutional government of the United States and in its place the establishment of Sharia law. Further, the distinction is made herein between Radical Islam and Moderate Islam (the later being expressly excepted from the intent of this Declaration.)

So when will we actually awaken? Next time.

One only has to read today about this foolish aging Jimmy Carter appointed Federal judge in Detroit who shot down the surveillance regime established by the administration to understand that it is a long and arduous task of small wars and hand to hand combat in the political and legal arenas.

In some ways this problem is similar to the problem that existed in the American South during Jim Crow times. The KKK, which was always composed of a very small fraction of the southern population, nonetheless existed for nearly a hundred years and was in actuality a terrorist organization, though its tactics did not involve suicide bombers. It was unheard of in the South for members of the KKK to actually be prosecuted for their actions, despite the fact the local authorities had a very good idea of who they were and what they did. Ultimately, the KKK was stopped by an outside force (the U. S. government), not by locals.

Muslim terrorism will continue to be a huge problem as long as Westerners tolerate imams preaching hatred and inciting people to commit heinous acts. There isn’t very much that we can do about such folks in the Middle East (some might dispute this assertion, I know), but we will have to deal with them in western countries if we wish to halt so-called home-grown terrorism. We did it before with the KKK, but we were only successful after the FBI got serious about the problem.
