I have already noticed that the members of the Armed Forces are much more competent and smarter and better educated and more ADULT than their counterparts in Academe. And then there is almost the entire communications industry: it is working for the enemy, because it is in a snit with Bush over same sex marriage and abortion, and it thinks that the people in the Armed Forces are not "our Kind of People". This does not bode well for the future of the American polity.
