OT

Over at Huffington Post (low tone, held my nose) the liberals are hyperventilating over an unscripted comment from the State Department something to the effect that the Guantanamo suicides seemed like a PR move.

But lo and behold here is a CBS news headline from their (CBS) website - "Poll: Zarqawi Death Has Little Impact. Most Americans Still Say War's Going Badly; Bush's Ratings Remain Low."

Let's change that around - "Poll: Guantanamo Suicides Has Little Impact Most Americans Still Say War on Terror Worth It; Bush's WOT Ratings Remain High."

If the first is accurate I bet my nestegg the second (congured in my gut) is also accurate.

Incidentally, I seem to remember during impeachment reading about Clinton's "JOB approval" not Clinton's Ratings. Semantics?

What if Haditha and the detainees is the tail witch is truly waging the dog this time.

The world found out Al zarqawy was dead on Thursday, how long did we bask on that glorious bit of news?

Wamo! The Sunday talk shows. Not a moment to spare.

So if it's ok for the MSM to politicize the death of terrorist enemy #1, why can't the state department say; you know the timing of these suicides at Guantanamo sure strikes of a PR move...
VP BIG TIME I say.

Why not rampage? Destroy the old buildings and the UN will pay for new ones w/better air-conditioning.

Of course, the above presumes that the buildings are older to begin with, but it's kinda hard to tell since the press has not provided us w/any pics of the Palestinian-on-Palestinian violence. Oh well, I suppose that if an angry mob attacked the White House they'd not bother with pics of that, either.

Roger:
Fatah should announce a truce, continue to attack, and then they can express outrage when Hamas responds to the attacks by non Fatah groups that Fatah has "no control" over. heh.

I blame Sharon for unilaterally withdrawing from Gaza. His action led to current mayhem, he should be bound over to the European International Criminal Court and tried as a war criminal.
