34 dead ain’t such a big deal to the Chinese whose doctors harvest organs from live prisioners for transplant. It’s a shame that all those organs are wasted.

Israel ought to give the Muslims a sporting proposition, give up Islam and Israel will give up it’s nukes. One can’t deal rationally with lunatics but you can scare them.

You have to realize that the War On Terror is, in large part, a war within Islam for control of Islam itself. None of the more goofy events (such as the cartoon riots) make sense until you cast them in this light. These recent bombings are just another example of this: they're not killing their own people to "get back at the United States for invading Iraq" as some idiot commentator said on PBS last night. They are killing their own people to frighten moderates into silence. These bombings serve to tell Muslims all over the world that, if they don't go along with the agenda of militant Islam, they will be killed ‚Äî probably while indulging in pleasures that the Islamist Totalitarians wish to deny them. Reza Aslan's book, No god but God has some very good background on this and an explaination of how militant Islamism got its start in colonial days.
