He is going to be so pissed when he discovers that I am the Mahdi (the 12th Imam).

Gary -- if you can, ignore who made the point and consider its merits or lack thereof.

David Irving and Ernest Zundel claim that there were no gas chambers in the death camps, while claiming that a million Jews were shot by the SS, though without Hitler's knowledge (at least Irving claims this). Rather than throwing them in jail, while their books get spread to the Middle East via the Internet, I would offer them money to go on a speaking tour with one of these people: http://www.nizkor.org/hweb/people/i/irving-david/reviews/

...he said a green aura was coming out of his head during his speech to the United Nations... and told an ayatollah that everyone at the General Assembly -- all these world leaders -- didn't even blink for thirty minutes (out of awe).

Has anyone seen this meglomaniacal, apocalyptic nutball and Al Gore in the same place at the same time? Just askin'.

Miguelj,

A very interesting theory. When Ahmadinejad becomes too much of a liability, the mullahs get rid of a loose cannon while gaining a casus belli against Israel. Interesting.

You know, I might have actually believed markus was making a sincere defense of free speech if he hadn't compared Israel to Nazi Germany.

"Always right" is very funny. The world leaders wearing paper masks - a real end of evening gasser.

Thanks for the laugh.

You fool, those are paper masks the world leaders were wearing. They had been snoring behind the masks.

Tell me, Ahmad, do those masks look like Dick Vitale or John Madden?

Well, according the "science" aura reading, here's what this means:

Light Green shades indicate the onset or potential for injury and the subject should be cautious for the next few weeks.

Darker Green shades generally indicate the injury has already occurred and is in the process of healing.

So either the man is hurt or he's about to be. Considering what he's saying about Israel and Israel's likely response, it does seem likely.

Amadinejad went a good deal further than bragging about his "green aura". He prattled on endlessly about the return of the "Mahdi" (the Twelfth Imam), which probably accounts for the reaction of the assembled luminaries:

"He said when you began with the words 'in the name of God,' I saw that you became surrounded by a light until the end [of the speech]," Ahmadinejad appears to say in the video. "I felt it myself, too. I felt that all of a sudden the atmosphere changed there, and for 27-28 minutes all the leaders did not blink."

He said that he is preparing the way for the return of the Mahdi, and may indeed believe that he is the Mahdi. Amadinejad was put in place by Khamenei, heir to Khomenei. Both Kurt Weldon and Richard Miniter recount that the Mahdi has appeared to Khamenei in a vision and instructed him to destroy the Statue of Liberty and attack America.

I don't think that the Mahdi had in mind an attack using pop-bottle rockets, or for that matter jet-airliners.

Imagine if Sharon spoke to the UN and went on and on about the impending coming of the Messiah, or GW spoke there and included in his speech endless comments on the immanent Second Coming of Christ. The MSM would be apoplectic.

Roger, I think I see what's happening here. Ahmadinajad is being set up for a a hit by his own people. For real.

After his next few outrageously maniacal threats against Israel they will have him assassinated in a way that can credibly be blamed on the Mossad.

Mahmoud, I hope you are reading this, because you are about to become a casus belli for your colleagues--their own walking, talking Reichstag Fire.
