Of course, I wasn&amp;#8217;t referring to &amp;#8220;red&amp;#8221; as in red state, but &amp;#8220;red&amp;#8221; in the way we used to mean it &amp;#8211; and even that is obviously an exaggeration.  What we are dealing with at Brooklyn &amp;#8211; and so many other colleges and universities today &amp;#8211; is an ideological hardening of the arteries so rigid it threatens the ability to think. This naturally creates a &amp;#8220;trickle down&amp;#8221; into our high schools and junior highs, only made worse by the National Association for Teacher Accreditation.
